During the difficulties of last year, we have worked tirelessly during the end of 2020 to create and develop new products that have plenty of potential in attracting attention in different business sectors.

What makes confectionery items such effective promotional products?

The difference is quite clear. In our eyes a confectionery or edible product will make the perfect promotional product and effective marketing tool. In one hand you have a branded pen or mug that will affect 1 or 2 senses such as sight and touch. In the other hand you have a branded chocolate bar that will affect most of, if not, all the senses. Sight, touch, smell and taste and sound when you hear the foil wrapper opening for the first time. I know which one I would choose. With confectionery products you are effectively engaging with your customer by using all the feel-good senses and releasing and increasing levels of endorphins and serotonin.

What end of the market are promotional confectionery items generally used to target?

It varies, there isn’t a specific one, we cover many if not all. This is what is great with a sweet product, everyone is generally pleased to receive a good confectionery product.

How seasonal is demand for food and drink items?

Quite important I would say. We tend to have a small spike in orders prior to Valentine’s day. As Easter approaches we suddenly receive a surge in orders for our egg range. The busiest time of year for Bite Promotions will begin from July/August. This is when we start receiving advent calendar orders and orders specifically aimed for the Christmas promotional period. The following few months after, our production team and sales staff are working tirelessly to generate and create orders ready for dispatch for the end of November at the very latest.

How easy/important is it to cater for a variety of food preferences, restrictions and intolerances?

This area can be quite complicated and challenging. The food industry is constantly changing and in order to stay relevant we have to keep adapting and adding new products.
With regards to confectionery promotional products, customers know exactly what they want and we have to ensure that we have products available that are contemporary and unique.
The sudden interest in healthy eating has seen Bite Promotions offer healthy alternative products such as low calorific popcorn. It is extremely important to cater for certain diets, the majority of our milk chocolate bars are suitable for vegetarian, kosher and halal dietary requirements. We try our best to ensure that everyone can try our chocolate.
